Professor Farooq Husain received Ph. D. and M.Tech. degrees in Electronics Engineering with
specialization in Signal Processing from the Department of Electronics and Communication
Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh, U.P., India,in 2013 and 1999, respectively. Prof.
Husain completed B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia New
Delhi in 1993. Currently, he is working as a Professor and Director at Shivdan Singh Institute of
Technology and Management (SSITM) Aligarh, U.P., India. After the completion of B.Tech degree, in
1993, he joined Precision Electronics Limited, Noida, U.P., as a Graduate Engineer Trainee. Prior to
joining the SSITM Aligarh, Prof. Husain has worked as Lecturer (1998-2004), Assistant Professor
(2004-2009) and Assistant Professor (2009-2018)at Department of Electronics & Communication
Engineering , Moradabad Institute of Technology (MIT), MIT Group of Institutions, Moradabad, U.P.,
India. His area of interest includes Digital Image Watermarking and Digital Audio Watermarking.
